1.Introduction


The IChing or Zhou Yi is the earliest Chinese philosophical text. The earliest layer, traditionally dated toc. 700BC and intended for divination, consists of64hexagrams. The Book ofChanges is the name attached tothe IChing inthe West.

The book consists of64characters hexagrams, each ofwhich expresses aparticular life situation intime from the point ofview ofits gradual development. Symbols are made up ofsix lines; the lines indicate successive stages inthe development ofagiven situation. Lines are oftwo kinds: either solid (they are also called nines), or interrupted inthe middle (sixes). The former symbolizes the active state, light, tension (yang), and the latter symbolizes the passive state, darkness, compliance (yin). It is generally accepted that the lines are read from the bottom up; their sequence describes the development ofthe situation.

Each hexagram can also be represented as acombination oftwo trigrams. Each hexagram, as well as each line inthe hexagram, is accompanied byaset ofaphorisms, which should give advice tothe fortuneteller.

The modern method ofanalysis ofthe psyche Octanalysis [115] makes it possible, on the basis ofscientific data on the human psyche, towrite an octanalytic commentary for the Book ofChanges.

Octanalysis distinguishes eight instances inaliving system (mental states, components ofthe psyche, vectors, layers ofthe psyche, vibrational levels, resonant levels, fundamental principles ofbeing) 0-Source, 7-Imagination, 6-Subconscious, 5-Soul, 4-Heart, 3-Irratio, 2-Ratio, 1-Mind. Using the methods ofoctanalysis, their harmonious, natural, impeccable hierarchy, top tobottom, 0, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1(inbinary 000, 111, 110, 101, 100, 011, 010, 001) was discovered. At any given time, one ofthese eight instances dominates the living system.




2.The designation of8trigrams ofFuXi


The legendary first emperor ofChina (Celestial Empire) Fu Xi (28522737BC) created the first eight trigrams (Kun, Qian, Dui, Li, Zhen, Xun, Kan, Gen), fundamental principles oflife.

The trigram consists ofthree horizontal lines, located one above the other. Each ofthe lines can be awhole horizontal line (strong line, nine, son) or ahorizontal line interrupted inthe middle " -" (weak line, six, daughter).

Lets introduce the digital designation oftrigrams, which is convenient for converting numbers from binary todecimal. Let us designate inthe trigram the whole horizontal line (nine) as 1 (phallus), and the horizontal line interrupted inthe middle - (six) as 0 (vagina). Inthe numerical designation ofthe trigram, for example 011, the digit on the left 011 indicates the lower line ofthe trigram, and the digit on the right 011 indicates the upper line. Then the designation ofeight trigrams will look like:

The eight instances ofthe psyche, studied inoctanalysis, uniquely correspond tothe eight trigrams ofFuXi:

0-Source / Kun, mother;

7-Imagination/Qian, father;

6-Subconscious/Dui, third daughter;

5-Soul/Li, second daughter;

4-Heart/Zhen, firstson;

3-Irratio/Xun, first daughter;

2-Ratio/Kan, secondson;

1-Mind/Gen, thirdson.




3.The dominance cycles ofFu Xi Trigrams


Inthe harmonious, impeccable, natural, top tobottom, 07654321-hierarchy ofthe eight instances ofthe psyche, the instance (trigram) 0-Source / Kun (mother) is inthe first place, and the instance (trigram) 7-Imagination / Qian (father) is inthe second place, which reflects the deep meaning ofarrangement ofUniverse. Introversion, turning attention inward, is characteristic ofmother. Extraversion, turning attention outward, is characteristic offather.

Inthe human race, the biological mechanism ofimmortality (childbirth) is carried out bythe mothers womb. The Universes mechanism ofhuman immortality is carried out bythe instance ofthe psyche 0-Source (Unified Consciousness) the trigram Kun (mother). Instance 0-Source/Kun (mother) is acornucopia from which emanations come and what we call the Universe is created.

Inthe process ofhuman activity, the instances ofhis psyche (Fu Xi trigrams) dominate inturn. For example, afull cycle ofinstances dominance with observance ofan harmonious, impeccable hierarchy ofinstances is the 076543210-cycle. Instance 1-Mind/Gen shows asense ofsuperiority and is able todeviate from the principle ofimpeccability and establish any other hierarchy ofinstances inthe psyche.

Octanalysis notes that the personality ofaperson has afive-component structure, which includes

three instances ofconsciousness 5-Soul/Li, 4-Heart/Zhen, 1-Mind/Gen;

two instances ofthe unconscious 3-Irratio/Xun, 2-Ratio/Kan.

Acomplete cycle ofdominance ofpersonality instances with observance ofan impeccable hierarchy ofinstances is the 543215-cycle.

Aperson with psychological problems, acting within Karpmans dramatic triangle (instances 3-Irratio/Xun, 2-Ratio/Kan, 1-Mind/Gen), performs the 1321-cycle. The terrorist criminal operates inthe 131-cycle.




4.Congenital dominance ofFu Xi Trigrams


The octanalysis method revealed the effect ofcongenital dominance ofpersonality instances (Fu Xi trigrams) [4], which depends on the date ofbirth ofaperson and manifests itself tothe same extent throughout apersons life.

An analysis ofpeoples behavior shows that the congenital dominants ofthe personality (congenital dominant trigrams) most often dominate inthe human psyche inthe process ofhis activity.

Octanalysis notes that apersons personality has afive-component structure. Depending on the date ofbirth, two tofive instances ofthe personality may show congenital dominance. Aperson perceives the congenital dominants ofhis personality as virtues perceives as atalent and applies them toachieve success inhis activities.

People inwhom only two instances ofthe five instances ofpersonality show congenital dominance, have anarrow range ofprofessions choice, and they may also have specific problems ofadaptation, both social and labor. Such people need psychological support.

Octanalysis has developed an octanalytic personality formula [4], which shows which instances ofthe personality show congenital dominance, and also characterizes the degree oftheir congenital dominant activity.

The Appendix describes indetail the procedure for compiling an octanalytic personality formula bydate ofbirth.

For example, the octanalytic personality formula for aperson born on 07/2/1954,

The digits 1, 2, 3, 4, 5inthe personality formula indicate congenital dominants, respectively, instances 1-Mind/Gen, 2-Ratio/Kan, 3-Irratio/Xun, 4-Heart/Zhen, 5-Soul/Li.

The location ofthe digit inthe personality formula (first dominant, second dominant, background dominant) and the repetition ofthis digit (for example, four, instance 4-Heart/Zhen, twice as the first dominant, as the second dominant and as background dominant) show the degree ofcongenital dominant activity ofthe instance.

Note that the congenital dominants ofthe lunar zodiac sign have agreater influence on human behavior than the congenital dominants ofthe solar zodiac sign.

The personality formula written above indicates the following congenital dominants ofthe personality and characterizes the degree oftheir activity:

instance 4-Heart/Zhen (four as the first dominant and as background dominant);

instance 3-Irratio/Xun (three twice as the first dominant);

instance 2-Ratio/Kan (two as the second dominant);

instance 1-Mind/Gen (one twice as the second dominant).

The octanalytic personality formula is used toanalyze interpersonal communication. When studying and evaluating the psychological state oftwo persons who interact with each other, the octanalytic personality formulas ofthese persons are compared.




5.Society and power


Octanalysis notes that inhis activity aperson uses athree-component consciousness: instances 5-Soul, 4-Heart, 1-Mind.

Harmonious hierarchy ofconsciousness instances is 541-hierarchy: instance 5-Soul inthe first place, instance 4-Heart insecond place, instance 1-Mind inthird place.

Instance 1-Mind has aunique property it is able toshow asense ofsuperiority and establish inconsciousness any other hierarchy ofconsciousness instances: 514-, 415-, 451-, 154-, 145-hierarchy.

Age-related pentapsychology [1], the section ofoctanalysis, notes that age-related activation ofconsciousness instances is carried out inthe sequence 1-Mind ? 4-Heart ? 5-Soul.

At the age of1.52years to6years, only the extroverted instance 1-Mind dominates inconsciousness ofachild. At the age of6to18years, inconsciousness ofachild, ateenager, inturn the introverted instance 4-Heart and the extroverted instance 1-Mind dominate. Over the age of18years, inconsciousness ofan adult inturn the extroverted instance 5-Soul, the introverted instance 4-Heart and the extroverted instance 1-Mind dominate.

Inthe development process ofsociety, the same regularity is observed. The age-related activation ofpublic consciousness instances is carried out inthe sequence 1-Mind ? 4-Heart ?5-Soul.

How do the instances ofpublic consciousness 1-Mind, 4-Heart, 5-Soul manifest themselves?

When the extrovert instance 1-Mind dominates inpublic consciousness, people build relationships, first ofall, according tothe scheme Iam higher, you are lower, on the basis ofselfishness, asense ofsuperiority, lies, lack ofprinciple. This means that the distribution ofpublic good among people on the basis ofselfishness, lies, criminal actions is afair approach from the point ofview ofthe extroverted instance ofpublic consciousness 1-Mind (the capitalism approach).

When the introverted instance 4-Heart dominates inpublic consciousness, people build relationships, first ofall, according tothe scheme Iand you are on the same level, they build friendly, cordial relationships. This means that the even distribution ofpublic good among people is afair approach from the point ofview ofthe introverted instance ofpublic consciousness 4-Heart (the socialism approach).

When the extroverted instance 5-Soul dominates inpublic consciousness, people build relationships according tothe scheme You are higher, Iam lower, they show altruism, devotional service and sacrifice. This means that charity and devotional service topeople is afair approach from the point ofview ofthe extraverted instance ofpublic consciousness 5-Soul (the communism approach).

Octanalysis clearly shows where the ideas ofbuilding capitalism, socialism and communism came from. These ideas reflect the fundamental properties ofthree components ofhuman consciousness the extroverted instance 1-Mind, the introverted instance 4-Heart and the extroverted instance 5-Soul.

Inaddition tothese three approaches (capitalism, socialism, communism) ofinfluencing public consciousness, there is also an approach ofhypnotic influence on public consciousness (the hypnotism approach). When using the hypnotism approach, the state ofconsciousness ofaperson changes. Inthis state, aperson acts unconsciously.

The human psyche is arranged insuch away that inthe eight-component structure ofthe psyche the introverted instance 6-Subconscious inthe hierarchy is higher than the instances ofconsciousness 5-Soul, 4-Heart, 1-Mind. This makes it possible, with the help ofsuggestion, with the help ofhypnosis, tocontrol apersons behavior from the outside. When the introverted instance 6-Subconscious dominates inthe psyche, the state ofconsciousness changes, the three-component consciousness is turned off and the person acts unconsciously according tothe programs ofthe subconscious.

If ahypnotist or asystem ofhypnotic influence, with the help ofan extroverted instance 1-Mind introduces his program into public subconscious, then people unconsciously act according tothis program (the hypnotism approach).

Thus, inthe development process ofsociety, the public consciousness can be influenced byfour approaches:

capitalism (with dominance ofthe extraverted instance ofpublic consciousness 1-Mind);

socialism (with dominance ofthe introverted instance ofpublic consciousness 4-Heart);

communism (with dominance ofthe extraverted instance ofpublic consciousness 5-Soul);

hypnotism (with dominance ofthe introverted instance ofpublic subconscious 6-Subconscious).

At the society development stage capitalism inpublic consciousness primarily the extroverted instance 1-Mind dominates. Inthe power structures ofthe state, first ofall, people come, inwhom the extroverted instance 1-Mind shows apronounced congenital dominance.

At the society development stage socialism inpublic consciousness primarily the introverted instance 4-Heart dominates. Inthe power structures ofthe state, first ofall, people come, inwhom the introverted instance 4-Heart and the extroverted instance 1-Mind show congenital dominance.

At the society development stage communism inpublic consciousness primarily the extraverted instance 5-Soul dominates. Inthe power structures ofthe state, first ofall, people come who show congenital dominance ofextraverted instances ofconsciousness 5-Soul and 1-Mind, as well as those people who show congenital dominance ofall five instances ofpersonality (three instances ofconsciousness 5-Soul, 4-Heart, 1-Mind and two instances ofthe unconscious 3-Irratio, 2-Ratio).

It is very easy toidentify people inwhom the extroverted instance 5-Soul shows congenital dominance. Octanalysis states that such people are born inayear that ends indigit 2or 3, such as 2002, 2003, 2012, 2013, 2022, 2023. The beginning ofthe year must be determined according tothe eastern calendar: second new moon after winter solstice (after December 22). InGregorian calendar, this usually corresponds toone ofthe days between January 20and February20.

At the development stage ofsociety hypnotism public consciousness is subject tothe dominant influence ofthe introverted instance 6-Subconscious. Caritology [3], the section ofoctanalysis, notes that the universe phenomenon Love manifests itself inhuman behavior through eight types oflove (universe, imaginary, suggestible, sacrificial, friendly, sexual, parental, egoistic love), which uniquely correspond toeight instances ofhuman psyche (0-Source, 7-Imagination, 6-Subconscious, 5-Soul, 4-Heart, 3-Irratio, 2-Ratio, 1-Mind).

Bythe type oflove shown inapersons behavior at given moment oftime, it is easy todetermine which instance ofthe psyche is dominating at that moment. For example, the manifestation ofselfish (friendly, sacrificial, suggestible) love clearly indicates at this moment dominance ofthe instance 1-Mind (4-Heart, 5-Soul, 6-Subconscious).




6.Inner development ofaperson


Inthe interaction ofaperson and the situation, aperson manifests himself as aleading principle, and the situation as adriven principle.

The advancement ofaperson from one situation toanother is the advancement ofaperson along the Path ofLife, the advancement along the Path ofReturning Home tothe Unified Consciousness.

The Universe takes care ofthe inner development ofperson.

According tothe law Psychically similar is mutually attracted, or inother words, Like attracts like, aperson encounters situations that contribute tohis inner development and advancement along the Road toHome.

When aperson stops or degrades inhis inner development, he attracts situations that hinder his activity, stop his activity or destroy his activity.

And when aperson develops himself internally, he attracts situations that contribute tohis further inner development.

Aperson inhis inner development goes through the following states:

7.Designations of64hexagrams ofthe Book ofChanges (IChing)


The ancient Chinese Book ofChanges (IChing) offers eight trigrams todescribe the states ofliving systems. Lets list them inorder according tothe harmonious, impeccable hierarchy, from top tobottom, Kun, Qian, Dui, Li, Zhen, Xun, Kan,Gen.

Inthe interaction oftwo living systems (aperson and the situation), 64combinations ofthe dominant instance (trigram) ofaperson and the dominant instance (trigram) ofthe situation are possible. These person-situation combinations are characterized inthe Book ofChanges with the help of64hexagrams.

According tothe theory ofthe Book ofChanges, the entire world process is an alternation ofsituations resulting from the interaction and struggle ofthe forces oflight and darkness, tension and compliance, and each ofthese situations is symbolically expressed byone ofthe 64hexagrams.

Todescribe 64combinations ofaperson-situation (64hexagrams), we use atwo-digit designation. The left digit is the digit ofthe persons dominant instance, the right digit is ofthe situation. Dominant instances 1-Mind, 2-Ratio, 3-Irratio, 4-Heart, 5-Soul, 6-Subconscious, 7-Imagination, 0-Source are designated bythe digits 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 0. Then the designation, for example, 34-combination, shows the combination ofthe 3-Irratio/Xun dominant instance (trigram) ofaperson and the 4-Heart/Zhen dominant instance (trigram) ofthe situation.




8.Octanalytic formula oftheday


When analyzing the interaction ofaperson and the situation, it is necessary totake into account that the octanalytic formula ofpersonality is unchanged throughout apersons life, and the octanalytic formula ofthe day (situation) changes everyday.

For example, for 04/10/2022, the day ofperson-situation interaction, the octanalytic formula ofthe dayis

10lunar day / 31-Leo / 60% + / / 32-Aries / 5-32-Tiger.

This octanalytic formula ofthe day indicates the congenital dominants ofthe day 04/10/2022:

instance 5-Soul/Li (five as abackground dominant);

instance 3-Irratio/Xun (three thrice as the first dominant);

instance 2-Ratio/Kan (two twice as the second dominant);

instance 1-Mind/Gen (one as the second dominant).

One ofthese congenital dominants (5-Soul/Li, 3-Irratio/Xun, 2-Ratio/Kan, 1-Mind/Gen) ofthe day is most likely toparticipate that day as the situation dominant inthe person-situation interaction.

Bycompiling the octanalytic formulas ofthe day for all days ofthe month, one can foresee which congenital dominant states ofthe situation will most likely manifest themselves on specific days ofthis month.

010-Kan, second son introverted instance 2-Ratio/Kan performs rational actions, puts everything inorder, puts it inacertain framework, shows care, parental love[3];

001-Gen, third son extroverted instance 1-Mind/Gen builds relationships according tothe scheme Iam higher, you are lower, shows asense ofsuperiority, selfishness, profit, unscrupulousness, lies, desire for pleasure, reasoning, analytic abilities; egoistic love[3].




10.Determining the number ofthe hexagram inthe Table1


The Table 1shows the numbers of64hexagrams according tooctanalysis (inbrackets according toKing Wen). The following are octanalytic interpretations of64hexagrams inthe sequence ofoctanalysis.

The sequence ofhexagrams according tooctanalysis, which we will also call harmonious sequence ofhexagrams, is formed as follows.

Eight hexagrams #1 #8successively describe combinations ofaperson-situation: 00-, 70-, 60-, 50-, 40-, 30-, 20-, 10-combination. This sequence ofhexagrams #1 #8corresponds tothe harmonious 07654321-hierarchy ofinstances ofthe human psyche incombination with instance 0-Source/Kun ofthe situation. Similarly, the sequence ofthe next eight hexagrams #9 #16is formed incombination with instance 7-Imagination / Qian ofthe situation,etc.

When moving from one group ofeight hexagrams tothe next group ofeight hexagrams, the instance ofthe situation changes inaccordance with the harmonious 07654321-hierarchy ofinstances ofthe psyche.

Thus, the sequence of64hexagrams according tooctanalysis corresponds tothe harmonious 07654321-hierarchy ofinstances ofboth aperson and the situation. Therefore, the sequence ofhexagrams according tooctanalysis is called harmonious sequence ofhexagrams.

This means that any transition from the previous tothe next hexagram according tooctanalysis is harmonious for aperson. For example, aperson is inastate that corresponds tohexagram #14according tooctanalysis. Then octanalysis recommends that aperson make efforts tomove toastate that corresponds tohexagram #15according tooctanalysis. Such atransition is harmonious for aperson.

Touse the Table 1, first compare the observed properties ofthe states ofthe person and the situation with abrief description ofthe properties ofthe instances ofthe psyche (Fu Xi trigrams) and determine which combination ofthe states ofthe person and the situation is manifested inthe person-situation interaction.
