Valle de los Elfos


Alicia viv?a en una peque?a casa en las afueras del pueblo. Aunque sus padres trabajaban en el campo desde la ma?ana hasta la noche, llevaban vidas modestas y pobres. Ciertamente, c�mo es posible hacerse ricos en tales circunstancias. Fuertes huracanes a�menudo ocurr?an all?, estropeaban y destru?an los cultivos.



Y un d?a, cuando los padres se hab?an ido a�trabajar, nubes oscuras cubrieron la casa, centellearon rel�mpagos, comenz� un fuerte granizo y luego estall� el viento. Era de tal fuerza que comenz� a�demoler todos los edificios a�su alrededor, a�convertir en astillas los barcos en el muelle local.



Alicia estaba muy asustada, se subi� a�la cama y se cubri� de cabeza con la manta. De esa manera hab?a sentado hasta que sinti� que la casa se despeg� y estaba llevandose en una direcci�n desconocida.








La ni?a corri� a�la ventana y mir� hacia abajo: ya hab?an sobrevolado a�trav�s de su pueblo natal, un lago, las monta?as, alguna ciudad. Y entonces todo comenz� a�girar y desapareci� ante sus ojos.








Cuando Alicia se despert�, se dio cuenta de que la casa no volaba a�ning?n lado. Se levant� y mir� por la ventana. Frente a�ella hab?a un c�sped soleado salpicado con diferentes flores. Las mariposas volaban y los p�jaros cantaban all?, as? que la ni?a sali� de la casa y fue a�mirar a�su alrededor.



Camin� un poco, recogi� flores, trenz� una guirnalda, se tumb� en la hierba, admirando el cielo azul sin nubes, pero de repente por poco se desmay� de tal sorpresa: aproximadamente a�un metro de ella, estaba flotando en el aire una criatura peque?a, similar a�una ni?a con alas.
