On the field ofview ofthe author the activities ofthe National Maritime Museum ofRussia (CNM), St. Petersburg. Critical reflections on the losses ofthe Museum, memory and traditions ofRussian military glory. Questions tothe museum management are formulated on behalf ofasimple visitor.
The first book on this topic (July 2019), having been delivered tothe offices ofhigh officials ofthe Navy and the Ministry ofDefense ofRussia, has no response.
This book is the second attempt todraw the attention ofordinary readers and responsible persons tothe changes that have occurred inthe walls ofthe institution formed byPeter the Great in1709.
The authors interests are not limited tothe last 30years ofthe organizations life, its current policy and relations with citizens. Along with excursions into history
how it was, much attention is paid tothe analysis oftodays Museum policy and its portrait how it became.
Third edition, revised and expanded.
The book has 115illustrations.

The book ofRupasov Pavel Georgievich SAINT. PETERSBURG. 310years ofthe Central Naval Museum ofRussia the title ofthe full version ofthe book is dedicated tothe Central Naval Museum (CNM).
It includes abrief history ofthe museum, acritical evaluation ofthe activities ofthe modern management ofthe museum inacomparative historical aspect, as well as articles on topical issues ofthe development ofthe modern fleet and the historiography ofthe Black Sea Fleet.
The book is written ingood Russian, it contains well-founded and factual arguments.
The book contains critical remarks, which, however, do not seek todenigrate the actions ofthe museum management, but are aimed at improving the work ofthe museum and strengthening its authority insociety.
Analysis ofthe facts given inthe book shows that this aim is quite achievable. The book is recommended for publication inthe maximum possible circulation. The book is well illustrated and educationally significant for the modern reader.

Our book educational project, which mainly deals with the history ofmaritime affairs inRussia, particularly welcomes the participation ofschoolchildren, students and pupils ofmilitary and naval history clubs inthe almanacs.

Our co-author SmyrnovK.K. from 2015to2018inthirty letters tothe Director ofCNM NehaiR.Sh., with illustrations and references tosources, reviewed more than 200historical and technical mistakes made bythe museum inexpositions!
The letters were left unanswered.
Some ofSmirnovs letters are published inthe first edition ofthe 160-page book. His remaining unpublished letters on 70pages are ready for publication.
K. Smirnovs letters made up the section TECHNICAL CULTURE AND HISTORICAL ACCURACY. They are published as the last opportunity toinfluence the situation.
Another 200pages inthe section MENTORS AND FOUNDERS deals with the losses suffered bythe Museum as aresult ofilliterate management. We believe that CNM the ship ofRussian naval patriotism, using the expression ofS. O.Makarov drowned inpapers and museum authority with it. And this is only one ofthe Hundred questions tothe Director.
